KRIPALU YOGA

Kripalu Yoga classes begin with warm up movements and breath awareness to prepare you for classic yoga postures.  The heart of each class is a sequence of postures (different for each class as well as each instructor), that stretch, strengthen, and balance your body.  The class also includes breath awareness or pranayama and quieting the mind as the class ends with a deep relaxation and meditation.  In each class, you are guided to move at your own pace while listening to your body’s needs. 

Class levels range from gentle (for those with physical limitations or those new to yoga with no previous knowledge) to mixed level (for beginner to intermediate) to vigorous (for the advanced student with previous yoga experience).
